So…I’m feeling refreshed, rested and revitalised from a week's holiday back home. It was great to see the family, all 32 of them, and catch up on what’s been going on. I ate far too much, but don’t we all on holiday?
It’s my first week back and I’ve been catching up on what I’ve missed. It seems we’ve been pretty busy here with the Summer Sale and the Double Double Discounts that are on offer at the moment. Have you seen the ad on TV? Or maybe you’ve been in and snapped up a good deal already.
I must say it’s not been very good to come back to this weather. Will it ever stop raining at all and let the sun shine. The best thing for it is to plan some day trips I think. Any ideas of where to head to this weekend? I’m thinking Oban or St Andrews…maybe St Andrews…home to golf…I’m sure the wife and kids would love that too. I bet they could be convinced with some ice-cream.
I’ll let you know where we decide to go. Any other places of interest just let me know.
If you haven’t been introduced to the Chevrolet Spark yet, then get ready to be amazed. I was! It may only be little, like me, but it has everything you’d want in a car. With a sporty stance, it’s stylish, fast and lots of fun.
The Spark is great because it is not just perfect to zip around the city in, I can take it out on the open road as well - perfect for all those summer day trips. Even more surprising, the instrument panel in the Spark is inspired by a motorcycle – how cool is that!
As well as the cool stuff, it has all the things you need – ABS anti-lock brakes, power steering, airbags, tinted windows, you name it.
And if all that wasn’t enough, it is one of the safest and most comfortable cars on the market. From only £6,999, this car is practically a steal! I think I have to have one..... See for yourself
Wow…we had a bit of a sunny spell recently, didn’t we? It was a heat wave last Friday and I felt like I was back home in my native Africa. I really had to stop myself from digging a hole and hiding underground to keep cool. That’s what I’ll be doing soon when I head back home for a little bit of a holiday.
All you guys go off with your beachwear, suntan lotion, and sunglasses. And most of you will no doubt get sunburnt. Will you ever change your habits I wonder… Suntans are not for us Aardvarks. We spend our days underground, staying cool and resting from the burning sun. When it sets that’s when we come out to play.
We’re normally hungry by then so go searching for some food. It needs to be a bit of a feast mind you. I’m looking forward to spending lazy days with the family and nights eating and drinking. A bit similar to your summer holiday after all.
Remember to send me a postcard…
